Onboard your customers

Before activating customers in Spinpanel, consider how you want the Spinpanel license cost to be charged. You can charge the fee directly to your customer's Azure subscription, or the Spinpanel costs for that customer can be added to your own organization's Azure subscription.

If you want to charge the cost to your customers' Azure subscription, please ensure you have purchased a Spinpanel license through Partner Center. This purchase will add the Spinpanel cost to your customers' Azure subscription rather than your own.

Do this by navigating to the Microsoft Partner Center, selecting the customer you want to purchase a Spinpanel license for, and selecting Subscriptions > Add subscription. Search for Spinpanel in the Online Services catalog. Select the customer's Azure plan subscription to which you want the Spinpanel costs to be added and click Add to cart. Review the order and select Buy.

Whether or not you have already purchased a Spinpanel license for your customers, you always have to activate the customers through the Spinpanel Portal interface.
